Please join us for a presentation and reception with Gilles Asselin, intercultural trainer and author of Au Contraire! Figuring out the French.

The presentation will discuss how cultural differences may impact relationship building, communication, and teaching between French and American people. Gilles has a passion for learning, education and teaching, as they relate to life paths. His personal life path took him around various countries, the two most significant being France, his country of birth and primary acculturation, and the United States, where he has been living and working during the latter part of his adult life. He will offer insights into the ‘formative patterns’ in both educational systems that lead to unique ways of thinking, doing and being.

A casual reception with food and wine will follow the presentation.
